Original Sweden Elixir is a 15-herb liquid formula containing aloe, angelica root, anise, camphor, carline thistle, fennel, galangal root, gentian root, licorice root, manna, myrrh, bitter orange peel, rhubarb root, senna pods and zedoary root. The Original Sweden Elixir represents the essence of skill, knowledge and experience in producing the finest quality herbal bitters. Only premium ingredients have been selected to achieve the highest quality and potency. They are ideal to use before meals to stimulate digestion or after meals to lessen feelings of fullness or gas.
Contains herbs traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as digestive tonics to relieve symptoms such as dyspepsia (upset stomach) and constipation.
Adults: Take 1 tsp in water or herbal tea, 3 to 4 times daily. Shake the bottle well before using. Store in a cool, dry place.
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking any medications or if you have a medical condition.
Do not exceed recommended dosage.
Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if diarrhea, abdominal cramps, spasms, and/or pain occur.
Consult a health care practitioner for use as a laxative beyond 1 week at a time.
Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have acute stomach irritation, inflammation, stomach or duodenal ulcers, and/or intestinal obstruction, or if you are allergic to anethole or plants of the Apiaceae/carrot family.
Hypersensitivity has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use.
