BIOFLO 2 contains cascara sagrada which is used for the occasional relief of constipation and to facilitate intestinal evacuation.
It also contains cayenne which is traditionally used in herbal medicine to aid digestion and help maintain peripheral circulation.

Ingredients

Cascara sagrada bark, Buckthorn bark, Licorice root, Rhubarb root, Ginger root, Couchgrass rhizome and Cayenne fruit.

Posology

Adults: Take one vegicap in the morning and one at bedtime. Allow 6 to 12 hours for laxative effect to occur. Do not use within 2 hours of taking another medicine Note: some people, by a slower metabolic rate, may experience slower results. In such a case, we recommend that you open the capsules and include the contents in your cleasing drink before trying to increase the dose. The digestive process of the vegetarian capsule may be slower in some people.

Warnings

Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you take thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or any other product that could worsen electrolytes level imbalance. Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you suffer from renal or liver disorders, high blood pressure or if you take heart or hypertension medication or anticoagulants. Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you suffer from fecal impaction or symptoms like abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever.

Reduce dosage or stop use if you experience abdominal pain or cramps.

In case of overdose or accidentally ingested, call a Poison Control Center immediately.

Contraindications

Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you suffer from hemorrhoids or stomach ulcers, inflammation or chronic gastrointestinal disorders. Do not use if you suffer from abnormal gastrointestinal tract constrictions or from an existing or potential bowel occlusion, or from appendicitis, or from an inflammatory colon desease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, or from abdominal pain of unknown origin, or from undiagnosed rectal bleedings, or from severe dehydration with loss of water and electrolytes or from diarrhea.

Known Adverse Reactions

Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
