Fir Balsam is a large tree that can grow 20 metres tall and live for 70 to 150 years. Native to North America, it is mainly found in Northern Quebec. Aboriginals used it in their traditional medicine and considered it the most vigorous and robust conifer. An ideal Christmas tree for its pleasant scent and long-lasting needles once cut, it was named the king of the forest. Fir Balsam essential oil evokes a walk in the great outdoors.
Fir Balsam essential oil is used in aromatherapy to help relieve joint and muscle pain associated with sprains, strains and rheumatoid arthritis.
Topical (Adults): Mix 1 to 2 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) of vegetable oil. Apply to the affected area 3 times per day.

If nausea, dizziness, headache or allergic reactions occur, discontinue use. Do not use on inflamed skin or in the event of dermatitis. Avoid exposing affected areas to sunlight.
