Cedarwood â Atlas, as its name indicates, comes from the massive Atlas mountain range in North Africa. It is native to Morocco and Algeria. A majestic tree, it can reach heights of 30 to 40 meters high. The essential oil is distilled from its wood.
Cedarwood essential oil is used in aromatherapy as a lymphotonic to help stimulate lymphatic circulation and to soothe minor skin ailments.
Topical (Adults): Mix 2 to 5 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) of vegetable oil; apply locally 3 times a day.
